We're
not trying to kid you that you'll be a master Flamenco Guitarist after
learning these 6 pieces but.....
You'll
be a LONG way ahead of the game.
Mastering
these relatively simple Flamenco pieces will be a great achievement in
its own right and will give you a firm foundation in some
of the
exciting styles used by Spanish and Flamenco players.
The
video you are
watching above is a demonstration of each of the six pieces in this new
Spanish and Flamenco Guitar Video Lesson Set. (The Play-thrus)
The
lesson videos
themselves each contain a highly detailed study
and lesson on how to
play
each of these pieces.
- The videos are shot in
our innovative 'over-the-shoulder-vision'
So you
don't have to
mentally or visually translate what is on the screen
- There
is also a video
for each piece called the playthrough which is obviously the
'performance' version
Means you can see
exactly how the piece should be played in performance
- Printable
tabs are
included in .pdf format.
Print them out and get
away from your computer for a while
until you 'perfect' each
piece
- Tabs
are also included
in Powertab format
This means you can
select small sections and listen carefully note-for-note for each
section
until they are
burned into your memory (well that's how I do it anyway)
- You
can email Jerry or
myself if you have any questions about the instruction videos.
- Assuming
you remember to
hit the 'Return to Merchant' button or link in Paypal...(some of you
forget don't you?) you'll be given 'instant access' to the download
page for this complete collection.
- Should
you NOT get
instant access after payment then DON'T PANIC. You can contact us via
phone or email...details are here: Mikes

Each of these pieces is
based on
a particular Spanish Flamenco Style.
If you're not sure (we weren't) what each style represents you can learn
a more little below. |
ALEGRIAS
Alegria
means happiness
or merriment.
Developed in Cadiz, this form is derived from, and has the same compas
as Soleares. Alegrias is a lively dance form normally played in the key
of A major.
SOLEA
Means
the
same as Soleares. Often referred to as the mother of flamenco
because other important forms such as Alegrias and Bulerias are derived
from it.
TANGOS
A
lively, infectious
dance in 4/4. Although it is generally performed in a light style, it
has an inherent, yet subtle tone of seriousness about it.
While some believe it has connections to the Argentinean Tango, others
emphatically insist it is of purely gypsy origin, having distinct
similarities to the Tientos. Arguments about whether Tientos came
before Tangos or vice versa are best left to musicologists and purists.
Tangos is one of the most impressive and dynamic dance forms and like
Buleria, is nurtured and developed as a show piece to be performed near
the end of a performance.
VERDIALES
A
lighthearted style of
Fandangos from Malaga which takes its name from a village called Los
Verdiales.
It is Malaga's equivalent to Fandangos de Huelva, performed at a slower
pace with the accent on the first beat of every bar. Verdiales is
considered to be folklore and thought to be the oldest existing
Fandangos in Andalucia.
There
are two types of
Verdiales. The 'regional' Verdiales is the folkloric style accompanied
by tambourines, violins and other instruments as well as the guitar.
The 'flamenco' Verdiales is accompanied only by the guitar.

I’ve tried learning this style before with books – but they are no good without a tutor. . . . . .
This set is excellent, clear and easy to follow at a good pace.
The biggest frustration for me is my own impatience to learn. I have a semi acoustic guitar and really need to obtain a spanish/classical one to get an authentic sound.
I have learned to stop myself and practise each little bit over and over before going onto the next bit.
I’ve tried learning this style before with books – but they are no good without a tutor.
I’ve tried other sites, but have found mostly just rubbish. I’ve trailed through dozens and this site is the best and most importantly – it’s fun.
